Our Purpose and Our Mission

Timonium Presbyterian Church (TPC) has been ministering in the Timonium community for over 40 years.  Our purpose is to Train Passionate Christians who reach out to the world through outreach, who worship God passionately, who fellowship lovingly, who disciple intentionally, and who serve sacrificially!

Our mission is to Communicate Christ and His gospel of love and grace to our community.  By our ministry we hope people will find hope through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Then, through our loving contact with them, we hope they will start Rejoicing in Christ by attending TPC's worship services, studies, and ministries on a regular basis.  After enjoying the fellowship and ministries of TPC, we'd like them to consider joining our congregation thru church membership and our ministry of "One-anothering."  Once a member, it is our desire to see each person grow in their spiritual maturity by Studying Christ and His teachings (Matt. 28:18-20).  We believe a growing member is an involved member who Serves Christ by using their gifts to train others for outreach, worship, fellowship, discipleship, and service.  This is our burden, our passion, and our calling - to be C.R.O.S.S. Trainers for Jesus Christ!
